Heizleiterpruefstand_BGH_Lugau

For over 50 years, we have been shaping the future of heating resistance alloys.

As early as the 1970s, production of heating resistance wire and fine wire began at our current BGH sites in Freital and Lugau (then VEB). In the 1980s, one of the most advanced lifetime testing facilities of its time was commissioned — setting new standards for quality and reliability.

Today, our portfolio covers a wide range of heating resistance products: from wire, fine and ultra-fine wire to bare bars — designed to meet the most demanding applications.

Introducing BGH THERM resistance alloys: Precise heat. Maximum Durability

Our materials are used across in diverse applications. Here are some examples within industrial applications that require uncompromising reliability and highest quality:

  • Industrial furnace construction: Chamber furnaces, continuous furnaces with chain conveyor systems
  • Chemical industrie / process industry: Tubular or immersion heaters for precise temperature control
  • Automotive applications: Battery thermomanagement, seat heaters
  • Brake resistors: Safety stop of electrical lifting systems

BGH offers a wide range of resistance alloys for use in different environments and at working temperatures of up to 1400 °C.

So whenever you feel heat, there’s a good chance a BGH wire is closer than you think.
