The BGH Group has an integrated management system covering the entire group that is certified to the international ISO standards for quality management (ISO 9001), environmental management (ISO 14001) and energy management (ISO 50001).
Internal and external audits are carried out regularly to ensure the effectiveness and continuous improvement of our management systems. These audits systematically review processes and procedures, as well as compliance with the standards' requirements. Modern digital tools support audit management and the tracking of corrective actions. We make training materials on quality, the environment, energy and health and safety available to our employees in digital format.
The group first achieved certification to ISO 9001 in 2003. Following the introduction of ISO 50001 in 2012, our management systems were consolidated into an integrated system. Since 2015, certification to ISO 14001 has complemented this approach.
Furthermore, the Siegen site is laboratory-accredited in accordance with DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025. The Lugau site is certified to the IATF 16949 standard, which sets out the requirements of the automotive industry. BGH Polska and BGH Freital are certified in accordance with the EN 9100/AS 9100 aerospace standard.
In addition, the BGH Group holds a variety of industry- and material-specific approvals. These are reviewed and recognised in collaboration with renowned inspection and certification bodies.
