From 2025, we at BGH will be obliged to carry out sustainability reporting in accordance with the new EU requirements. These requirements are based on the CSRD (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive) - a European standard that obliges companies to report comprehensively on their sustainability performance.
In order to implement this efficiently and transparently, we have opted for the ESG suite from CodeGaia. We use this tool not only to carry out the materiality analysis (which helps to identify the most important sustainability issues for our company), but also to create reports that meet the requirements of the EU taxonomy - a classification system that clearly defines sustainable activities.
In addition, we use the ESG suite for our risk management in accordance with the Supply Chain Act to ensure compliance with social and environmental standards along the entire supply chain.
