Properties
BGH TOUGH ONE is a Cr-Mo-V alloyed hot working steel with high thermal shock resistance and very good wear resistance. BGH Tough One clearly exceeds the toughness of the DIN analysis of 1.2343.
The same heat treatment parameters apply to BGH TOUGH ONE compared to the DIN-grade.
Delivery condition
- EFS-annealed (extra fine structure)
- annealed (+A) max. 229 HBW
- quenched and tempered (+QT) upon request
Application area
Highly stressed filigree tools in environments with demands on resistance against wear and temperature changes in combination with good
toughness values.
